Joining the xbox preview program

Hi, I am wondering if I could gain access to join the Preview program, I am interested to see the development of xbox and I would love to help, I have a bad rep because many of my friends report me for not doing something with them. Or for no reason, I talked
to an xbox staff member about the Custom Gamer Pictures, they said that I have to join the preview program and she explained it to me so now I am interested to join and help in anyway possible to see xbox's work.

Joining the Preview Program

Hello XBox One gamers. My name is Quinn and I just found out about the Preview Program. I want to be included in helping our gaming community but I need someone to send me the invite. I'm not sure what all is needed but my Gamer tag is .

Last time I checked the Xbox Insiders program was not accepting any new members. Let alone any members with a bad rep or enforcement action.

Besides,only certain members of the insider program can use custom gamerpics at the moment.

You wouldn't get that feature if you had just joined.

on the other hand as Major Nelson posted yesterday on twitter, u actually can use a custom gamerpic through the Windows 10 Beta App

To join the insider programme all you have to do is download the "Xbox insider hub" on your Xbox one, custom gamer pics are only currently available to the alpha ring within the programme, they will be released to everyone else long before you get there.

Wrong... ANYONE can upload custom gamerpics with the Xbox Beta app on Windows 10. Major Nelson announced that yesterday. (there's a thread here somewhere with link)

Yeah,it's now changed so if you have the xbox beta app on windows 10 you can use custom gamerpics.

Didn't know this when I posted my first answer.

The lesson I learnt was always read Goths threads before anything else from now on

Hi there!

Windows 10 testing is a separate program to the Xbox One preview program. To join the Xbox One preview program, you will need a friend who is already in the program to invite you. Invites are not given out over the support forums.

Hi there,

The Xbox 360 preview program is definitely separate from the Xbox One preview program.

The reason you're probably not receiving any more invites is because of a potential backlog of requests to join the preview program. Even then, there is no guarantee you've been accepted into the program.

However, I would wait for a support staff member to manually grant you access to the private preview program forums so that you can ask there.

Hi DJMoley, there is actually a big change coming to the Preview Program that will eliminate the need for invitations. The Preview Program will morph into the Xbox Insider Program and be open to all. The new name and app are currently in preview and should
roll out in the next few weeks and you will be able to join up.
