    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues using the party chat feature of Xbox after the update. Do you receive any error message that you can share? As part our troubleshooting, please ensure that your communication settings are properly configured. These communication settings can be adjusted to limit who you want to chat with.

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then go to Profile & system.

    2. Select Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy > View details & customise.

    3. Select Communication & multiplayer, and then review the settings for the following to make sure that they are set to "Everyone":

    Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites

    You can communicate outside of Xbox with voice & text

    You can use video for communications

    If you want to learn more about configuring your settings, go to:

    Note: If you're connected to a Discord voice channel on your Xbox console, your party chat status will say “Discord” and the name of the voice channel that you're in.
