Join game not working?

I've been thinking of things to try and fix this, but have come up empty handed each time.

The join game option when selecting a friend to join doesn't work right, I've gone through half my friends list only to find out a few of them it works for, but others it is greyed out and unresponsive, the join party option works, and the friends it's greyed
out for say it works fine for me. This started the night before the outage happened, and it's driving me nuts, because most times i just join up and now I have to wait for my friends to do it.

I've tried reseting xbox and my internet, my Nat is open, my settings haven't changed, my internet hasn't changed. I don't know what could be causing this to the few people that it's currently screwing up for.

Hiya!!

Apparently XBOX servers are having some issues right now with various areas. I'm sure that Microsoft is fully aware of the situation and are working on a resolution to correct the problem..

You should make sure you both have the latest version of Fortnite on your Xbox.

Then also check and see if either of you have NAT issues, ideally you want Open NATs. You can check this by going to settings on your console and then network, and then test multiplayer connection.

Sorry to hear about what's going on.

I can totally understand how that can be frustrating especially if you wanna have a good squad match.

I just wanted to add that if you have not done so, I'd try powercycling your console and seeing if that helps with the issue.

Try following the steps here on
How to restart or power cycle your Xbox One console and see if that helps you out.

Give that a shot and let us know how that worked for ya.

Same. Cant join friends. "Error, there was a problem joining game".hope someone is working on this.

the servers are not working properly...

the only game I can join is team deathmatch and I need to wait some time sometimes even 15mins to find a game.....

Joining a friend`s game though is working :S
