"Join Game" Launches A Different Title

Trying to join different friends will often launch the wrong game, or take me to the Microsoft store to download/play that game. This isn't an uncommon glitch, as many of my friends encounter it and I've seen an empty thread on it from 2018. Does anyone have a genuine solution for this issue? Maybe it's time to fix your stuff Microsoft.

Unless 500,000 people report the same issue, Its a local issue. Local as in 'Your xbox'. Itseems to be a profile issue. Remove all profiles (You will need email and password to re-install) and the power down (unplug) for 3 mins. Restart and download profile.

Listed steps did not solve issue. Upon attempting to join through other devices (Phone, PC), there was no option to join. Others were able to join, so if the issue pushes past the console itself, this is a Microsoft issue with reports of the same issue from years ago and no resolutions. Hoping Microsoft fixes this.

Killzone is not even a launch day title! It's one of Sony's "launch Window' titles. Which means it definitely will not be available at launch. And given Sony's track record with release dates for games they show off at conferences, I would not expect this
game in the first 6 months. Lucky if we get it the first year.

That being said, maybe they will pack a different game. That is a good deal, but not sure why they are doing it if they have no consoles left to pre-sell.

Thanks MisterSwitch, Right now I'm only thinking of getting ac4, bf4 and cod ghosts at launch, I don't have all the money in the world for games lol =P

Assassin's Creed IV and LEGO Marvel are the only ones that really interest me off that list.
