Join game greyed out

Hello, thanks for taking the time to read and try help.

Iv been playing no mans sky with a mate who just started. We played fine for a week no problem. Now all of a sudden we can't join ea we can't invite ea to the game, doing all troubleshooting I can think of, both nat open both online either trys to host definitely not a full lobby ect.

But now I can't invite or join anyone on my friends list doae not matter what game they playing the join game is greyed out even if they hosting, and no invites come in. Its rather frustrating.

Also, i can invite them to game and then they can join but the just can't join without having to ask me first. Is there some random button that disallows friends from joining?

Jack, the best option will be perform an offline update following steps below:

In that way xbox system will be installed from scratch.

If the issue persist the best option will be request a repair order

After it happened with no mans sky its now every game, almost feels like a soft ban.

Both me and my friends on same console no cross play attempting.
