Join Game from Xbox to PC - Message Join failed

Hello,

I spent many hours to try to play with my son to Ark today.

That's so easier from computer to computer, here from Xbox to computer, that's a real pain !

I bought him the game on Xbox, and I had to buy it again on my computer, because it doesn't work with my Steam version...

I bought the Xbox Gold Live to my son on Xbox, because it seems we cannot play on local server party without to pay a pass...

The party to join is host from my computer.

Type NAT is open.

All access on my son's Xbox profile are granted, anyway I had to cancel the parental control.

We are friend on Xbox live and I sent him invitation to join the game

And finally, when he try to join my game with my invitation, we have the message "Join failed"...but we don't know why !!

What do I have to do to play with my son ?

At launch I only occasionally had problems joining a Conquest game (failed to join but there was no message or it put me in a deathmatch game) and rarely would I get kicked from a server and thrown into the dashboard (once every few hours or so and only
in after a game had ended, never during a match). It seems that every time there has been a patch for the PC or PS4 I fail more often to join a game but it still wasn't that bad, but ever since that last PC patch from earlier this week, I can't play anything.
It took me 30 min to get the game to even load (just kept kicking me back to the dash) and I am still trying to join a game of any game type with no luck. One time a game loaded but I was the only one in it.

I’m playing Ark from my Xbox One, my nat is listed as strict but I don’t know how to change that. The "Join failed" message appears when I try to join a friend’s game and also appears to my friend when I invite him and tries to join my game

I keep getting this message too!

Along with the following:

Lost connection to host

Game lobby full

The selected session was full or the join operation has failed.

Disconnected from Xbox Live

Failed to allocate from element pool

So I have done some more troubleshooting. She can join other servers. I on my pc can also join official servers. I do have all the ports open and forwarded that Xbox normally requires. My pc still says join failed when I try to join her. Same on Xbox side. My pc does say could not retrieve address when I try to join unofficial dedicated arks.
