join controller prompt

While play Minecraft. My screen keeps showing a controller prompt for 2nd controller to join. When there is only one player playing. How do I get it to go away?

XBox Live - 2 players from same console

Hey there! It's super easy. Once you have the world loaded up with your first player, have the second player turn on their controller and hit Start. It'll then prompt you to join the game.

Controller Update for Stereo Headset Adapter Fails

StaticMG - When I plugged my friend's headset adapter into my controller, it just worked, no prompt. Then I unplugged it and plugged my adapter in again and got the prompt to update the controller.

Hi there,

please try the following:

if using a Xbox One console do the following first:

Please press and hold the power button on the console for at least 10 seconds until you hear the console powering down and wait for the console is fully powered down.

When using a Xbox 360,

then power the console off as usual

Next steps are for both Xbox One and Xbox 360

- wait at least 60 seconds.

- Disconnect power from console for at least 2 minutes

- reconnect power and turn console on again.

That should solve any additional controllers to be shown while they are not connected.

doesn’t allow to join that way either. There is no prompt to join. It doesn’t say press A to join in the upper right corner like it should.

I have done it with only 2 players.

You will need to assign a profile for each controller.

The 1st player need to be in the game.

2nd player must press the xbox logo on the controller and sign in with a profile. Will give a prompt on the screen to join. Just press the button that show on the screen. It will load the 2nd player to the world.

It is modern warfare multiplayer it just doesn’t give the prompts for the second player to join
