Jigsaw Puzzle freezing

So my jigsaw puzzle has been freezing for the last two weeks. Didn't know it was caused by ads until I winded up on this forum. So here is my two cents worth. Researched this issue and did everything I possibly could to fix it. I installed the latest
windows updates, checked for updates on the game in the games store, used the windows store app troubleshooter three times, updated my java, checked my DirectX on my computer (lol didn't know what I was doing with this one), updated all my drivers, rebooted
few times, uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. None of these things worked.

Finally, I called Microsoft Support, told them the problem, told them all the things I did to try and fix it. The tech told me that I did everything that could be done and further troubleshooting will require Microsoft tech support plan for $149 USD.

I guess free game just became a $150 game.

Freezing

Jigsaw puzzles keep freezing up & cannot download any new puzzles! Please help!

Help for puzzles not downloading

I finally got support help in solving my problem with puzzles not downloading and the program freezing in Microsoft Jigsaw Puzzle. It was as simple as uninstalling and reinstalling the Microsoft Jigsaw Puzzle program. I had concerns
that my data would be lost, but it was not. I hope this helps someone else!

I am experiencing the same issue. At first I thought it was my mouse's battery going bad/dead. So I tried a new battery, but that did NOT fix the problem!! I do not remember when it first started, it was either after I download my first extra puzzle or
after Windows did an update or both. But since then I have been having problems playing Jigsaw; having it freeze up especially when I am trying to move a puzzle piece, trying to click on a puzzle piece to pick it up to move it, sometimes when the game loads
up it freezes, and sometimes after I complete a puzzle it will freeze up/crash.

Hopefully Microsoft will address/fix these "issues"/"bugs"!

I just signed in to jigsaw puzzles trying to put together a puzzle. It has froze up on me 3 times just doing the edge pieces, then it kicked me completely out of jigsaw puzzles. A friend is having the same problem. Is Microsoft ever going to repair the problem?

You can purchase puzzle packs with the in game currency, have you purchased all the puzzle packs available?

There is a new jigsaw pack added every month.

Also have you tried the custom puzzle mode where you can create a jigsaw using one of your own photos?
