Jigsaw not working correctly on Surface pro 3

A couple days ago the jigsaw app stopped letting me sign in. I get a message that says that a connection to Xbox could not be established. However I can sign in using Microsoft solitaire collection without any trouble.

So, I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it to see if that would help. Not only does the sign in problem continue, but there appears to be no way to redownload the puzzle collections that I paid for previously. I spent about $15 on puzzles. Please help.

I am using a Surface Pro 3 with Windows 8.1. All updates have been applied.

Smartglass crashing

Correction: this is NOT working on a Surface Pro 3. Interestingly on my Surface Pro 3 the app was still open from last night so it looked like it was working. After closing it and trying to launch it again, I now have the same instant crash issue on this
device

 

Some daily challenges never open

Jigsaw works get on Desktop, but never loads daily challenges of Surface Pro

Have you also made sure to restart your Surface after downloading all updates? It's important that you select Restart instead of just shutting your device down and restarting it.

 

Yes I did. In fact, I went ahead and reset my Surface to factory and redownloaded all the updates. The problem remains.

 

Does the issue persist? Do you see any error code when trying to sign in?
