Jigsaw in Win10 Pauses

Playing Jigsaw in Win 10 gets more frustrating every day because it pauses for 5-10 seconds, continues for awhile (30 seconds) than pauses again. Does this continually. Same thing happens in other applications such as MS Word and it just did it while writing
this message. Why did Microsoft put so much effort into screwing up my computer. Maybe time to move to Apple!

MS Jigsaw - Classic Jigsaw

Platform: Win10

Issue: When attempting to load a Classic Jigsaw of any size - it gets to 20% if that, then closes window.

Notes: Have not purchased yet. / Jigsaw Jam works / Daily Challenges work.

Some daily challenges never open

All challenges on Oct 4 loaded/ran okay for me. But Jigsaw Jumble on Oct 2 freezes at about 20%. Running Win10 Pro Build 16299.rs3, updated 10/4.

 

sorry youre having issues with that, but why, may I ask, are you convinced windows did something to your device? if everything is having temporary freezing issues that sounds more like a hardware problem. I'm no tech genius, but sounds like not enough available
RAM to me. it may just be time for a new computer. I don't know if that helps at all. Good luck man.

 

I have the same problem too. It has been happening for the last week or so and getting progressively worse each day. It happens even when every thing else is closed on my computer and Jigsaw is the only app open. Jigsaw is the only app I have issues with
freezing up.

I just upgraded to Windows 10 about a month or so ago. Never had any hardware or RAM issues before. I have 12 GB RAM.

Sorry to hear about the issues you're having with Microsoft Jigsaw. It does sound like TastyBouillon suggested that there could be an issue with the computer, if this is happening with all apps. Please try the troubleshooting steps on this page HERE and
let us know if it helps. Sometimes something as simple as reinstalling the game will fix an issue like this.

OK, I appreciate the feedback, but this happens when using other apps too like email and MS Word. Granted I have 'only' 8GB of RAM, but how much do you need to use MS Word by itself. Seems like there is too much crap running in the background; hence I
see that as a Win 10 problem. Why do I need all that other stuff going on? Just like right now trying to type this message, I sit and wait for up to 10 seconds before the keyboard responds and I can continue. Pain in the but!
