Jigsaw crashes!

In Classic Jigsaw, when I click on "Downloadable Collections" or "See all collections" the program terminates immediately with no warning or explanation. I checked the FAQ and updated Windows as suggested, to no avail. I love the program and will use it
regardless, but if there are other collections available, I'd LOVE to see them!

Microsoft Jigsaw crashes.

Today, Microsoft Jigsaw has experienced two crashes. The first occurred just after opening the program and clicking on Classic Jigsaw, the second happened after completing a jigsaw in the Classic category/Food/Piece of Marzipan Torte on Medium difficulty
and being notified that the next puzzle was opened. Both crashes just simply shut the program down.

My problem seems to have partially cured itself. Partially, because the app still will occasionally dump me out. I haven't taken the time to completely research the why, but here's a couple of thoughts:

1. When you first load the app, click on the Classic Jigsaw panel, then click on "Downloadable collections" BEFORE you try to open any puzzles or do anything else.

2. Don't click on "See all collections", only on Downloadable collections".

3. If these don't work, just keep trying different approaches, i.e. stop in the middle of solving a puzzle, then go back to "Downloadable collections', etc.

I don't know why either of these should affect anything, but they seem to. Hope this helps.

 

It doesn't matter what approach I take, it crashes every time I try to open the Collections panel to download a new collection. No warning, just closes.

 

In the Microsoft Windows 10 Community an answer was posted that says, first try the windows store-app troubleshooter (type troubleshooting in the search area of the task bar, then select view all from the left panel of the troubleshooting apps, then select
the window store apps trouble shooter). Second, try resetting the windows store cache by running wsreset.exe from the command prompt. I have tried both these methods without success. I am still able to purchase individually suggested puzzles in the download
section, but cannot view all downloadable collections without the program terminating. The problem was intermittent for a couple of weeks and hiwlln's "random tries" approach was successful in opening the window. But over the last few days nothing works.
If anyone out there has figured this out, please post the solution.
