    Java Minecraft Issue


    Hello!

    I'm having an issue with Minecraft, or more specifically the launcher.

    In my taskbar, the launcher's icon is completely invisible or transparent. I saw a discussion earlier that was talking about how they fixed it, so I tried to follow along.

    Turns out, I don't have the normal launcher file in my downloads for the Minecraft launcher. I have the .minecraft folder, but it doesn't have everything that it usually does, and I have the Minecraft folder for the Xbox/Gaming thing (which is where I can open it without using the installer/the normal launcher.) I can't add it to my desktop, which makes sense since its not a file but I can't uninstall it since.. there's no file for it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the installer, but it just opens the launcher the same.

    Has anyone else had this issue? Can I get some help?

    For reference, the laptop I'm using is the Lenovo Ideapad 1 14IGL7 and I have not tried to play Minecraft yet.

    Mojang Account Migration

    Not sure why your Java username is showing as already taken, but since the Minecraft website shows that you own Java, this is probably just an issue with the Launcher syncing data.

    Would you please try to reinstall Minecraft Java and the Minecraft Launcher too?

    Can only access minecraft Java Demo despite multiple purchases

    It is all the same email. I can sign in to the Microsoft account without issue. The issue is that it doesn't shoe a purchase of java minecraft. I can play minecraft for windows with that account without issue. Just not the Java version. There is no error message, but I only have access to the demo. The account is secured with my phone number.

    Perhaps we can explore why I have windows minecraft but not Java minecraft. Articles indicate that I should have access to both.

    If the issues are on the Java launcher installer, please, log in the Microsoft store app with the account that made the purchase then look for the Minecraft launcher and install it from there then log in in the launcher with the account that made the purchase on the java section and finally install the java edition
