    Hi everyone! After last patch (bf4) I got some crazy aliasing...anyone else experienced this too? My tv is a samsung 40-inch LED. I reinstalled the game but nothing. I changed my hdmi cable too, TV and nothing... I hope it's not the xbox one.

    Some very strong sharpness, my friend have a similar problem, is really annoying. After the last patch I got this problem. I played in many modes (pc, game mode, low sharpeness nothing works).

    Just grabbed this for $20...

    I'm enjoying this game, though the textures are terrible and jaggies look like modern doom. So,, forgot about anti aliasing?

    Does XB1 have anti-aliasing and good anti-aliasing?

    I know Xbox 360 has 4x anti-aliasing through it's 10MB eDRAM. Xbox One has 32MB ESRAM and more memory and an AMD HD Radeon 7000 series GPU which is much better than Xbox 360's GPU. I'm asking this question cuz looks like games won't all come out for Xbox
    360 @ 1080p native. That means 720p and on a 1080p HDTV, jaggies can be detected since it's 720p native and graphics would need to be stretched which leaves the possibility for "jaggies"/unsmooth lines/picture. Will it have like x8 anti-aliasing. I think anti-aliasing
    is NECESSARY for pp with 1080p HDTV's as we don't want jaggies. Even though Xbox 360 has, you still get jaggies because of it's hardware and not all games on 360 are natively 720p, some are sub-HD, not many are 1080p.

    The game doesn't utilize any anti-aliasing. It's gonna have jaggies, and is definitely something that console users will have to deal with unless the game gets re-released on next-gen platforms. Then, hopefully, we'll see GTA V with anti-aliasing, and higher
    resolution textures.

    Again; the X1 wins. The second image does have jaggies, but if you look at the ps4 image it is grainy and the lighting is incorrect. The X1 image was obviously absent of anti-aliasing and texture facing smoothers. Lighting is vital as it give depth and perception,
    where anti aliasing is vital in the aspect that it retains a mixture of lighting and correct edging on poly attachments.

    The PC was flawless as expected.

    The Xbox One 720p discussion (I apologize if this is a repeated thread, I'm new here)

    For pp with Full HD 1080p HDTV's, a 720p native game would have to be "stretched/upscaled" to 1080p. This means you would probably can expect "jaggies" unless Xbox One has some sort of anti-aliasing hardware which the Xbox 360 has 4x anti-aliasing in it's
    EDRAM is it. That's the only downside, but if it has really good textures/frame rate to compensate, then that's great. While 720p is HD, it's not a high enough resolution to run graphics without the need for anti-aliasing, but 1080p doesn't really need anti-aliasing,
    especially for Full HDTV's.
