  1. I've returned my xbox twice for repair. Got it back being still broken, twice.


    My Xbox has hardware errors which makes playing games impossible.

    I've returned it for repairs twice but the problem still hasn't been solved. I've documented the problem extensively but it seems they just run some tests and reset the software, even though it's obvious the hardware is broken (probably laser or HDD).

    Why don't they fix it? Why don't I get a new Xbox? I have limited guarantee left until the end of this year.

    The problem in short description:

    - First I got an E200 error. After resetting I got to the menu where you can perform a factory reset. But nothing happened. After that I only got a black screen (no menu).

    - After repair 1 I could start the xbox again and installed and downloaded all the content for Modern Warfare. But when trying to play I got a disc read error (already in game). I did a factory reset and reapplied the download and install, but the same problem
    occured.

    - After repair 2 I tried another game, install and download is ready, but it freezes during the intro and goes back to the xbox main menu.

    I've done that twice. But I don't get a new xbox and it after not being fixed twice, I'm not going to send it a third time.

    I've given them a detailed report of all the errors that occured and how/when they occur, so no, that's not it. And freezing during games has nothing to do with hdmi cables or ports...

    Then you arent doing your troubleshooting correctly

    Ita important to actually do your troubleshooting

    Once the problem has been actually identifed send it in for THAT PROBLEM

    Sending it in saying its a hd problem wont work they check that hdd and no issues then they send it right back

    If its a no display

    Maybe its your port on your tv or your hdmi cable

    Call support and run thru thr troubleshooting

    It's ridiculous support doesn't check if they have fixed the problem. It is also very clear they haven't replaced or repaired any of the hardware
