    I was meant to redeem a copy of Minecraft on my Xbox but I accidentally redeemed it on my PC instead without thinking, is there a way I can redeem it on my Xbox or change what its tied to as it wont allow me to redeem the code and the Xbox store says i
    dont own it.

    Unfortunately, no. Because the key is assigned to your account. But you can refund the game if you meet certain aspects. You will be refunded and then you can buy the game again on the platform you want.

    You might try requesting a refund on the game and then get it again and redeem it on the correct platform but there is no way to transfer from one platform to another.

    If you purchase the code from Microsoft for a refund you will have to fill out the form located at the following link.

    Man I'm super bummed out, is there really no way to redeem your free copy of Minecraft for Windows anymore? Why isn't it an ongoing thing that veteran players automatically get a free copy of Minecraft for Windows?

    "you still need to purchase the base game for each platform you want to play it on" You say I need to buy it for each platform, but as far as I'm concerned, I've already bought it for PC, why do I need to buy it for PC again?
