i have just bought two xbox live memberships for 3 months from a shop and accidentally put them both on the same account but one of them was for my brother. is there any way of transferring one over ?

PUT XBOX LIVE ON WRONG ACCOUNT

Once a code is redeemed for an account it is tied to that account and cannot be transferred. I would suggest calling Xbox Support for your region and try to explain the situation to them and perhaps they can help.

you would have to call support they can cancel one of them and give you a token code to redeem on the correct account but you have a limited time to do it so call them up asap.

Please reach out to phone support to see if they are able to remove the membership from your account and give you a token so you can put it on your sons account.

The thing is that it's not an windows live id it is a yahoo account that was put in wrong

This is a new account. I signed in with my windows live id. So I put the same info on Xbox to connect it. Maybe ive set it up wrong. Not sure I wanted to delete this account on the Internet and reset the Xbox to this account details ???? Sorry I'm new to
Xbox.
