I’ve purchased the wrong version of mw2 can I get it refunded and get the correct version

You can request a refund for the game by signing in to https://xbox.com/refunds. It would be best to wait for the refund team's update first before attempting to re-purchase the game.

I also bought the wrong version, I want a refund to purchase the correct version. They shouldn’t sale the wrong version on Xbox series x store. I can’t get in contact with anyone for help, very bad customer support

When you buy a game via the console, the game will always be the Xbox One version, unless you buy a backward compatible game.

If you have accidentally purchased the wrong version, you can always call support and get the money refunded for the correct version.

My request for a refund is within policy. My child is on a child account. He made an authorized purchase for the wrong game/version. He then purchased the correct version. We requested a refund and Xbox have refunded the version he wishes to keep. The reason for now being a detractor and thinking of moving to a different platform is that the after sales service is terrible. I landed on this thread trying to find out how to get in touch with a person/complain.

The DLC would only work for the One version. If you just recently purchased the game, you can request a refund and then repurchase the correct version, but if it's outside of the refund period, the only way to get it would be to buy the One version. You
