I've learned from "early adopters".

I will buy a $399 Xbox 1 but I will wait for a bundle to be announced. I won't pay full price just to find out they are releasing the same console with a free game attached a few weeks later. Thank you early adopter beta testers.

Which is pretty much how early adoption has worked for every piece of new technology ever released in recent memory.

Early adopters pay full price. Early adopters are subject to bugs and other facets of the technology that doesn't work as advertised/expected. In return, early adopters get to use the technology on the first day it's made available.

This is the way it works. This is the way it has always worked. The complaining about this makes no sense at all.

Potentially you could be waiting a long time then, because their are always better deals six months to a year later.

I paid full price for my Xbox One and got FIFA 14 free, but if I bought the exact same console today (six months later) I would get Titanfall free (in my opinion a better game) Or I could buy the Kinectless SKU and get the console cheaper.

 

You should wait 7 or 8 years,you will be able to buy Xbox one bundle for less than $300.....Also most games will be cheaper.So wait.

 

I dont think a kinect less bundle is in the plans anytime soon.... but its ok, go ahead and wait to save $40.00 on a game that will most likely be in the GWG in the next few months

 

For a change I think Aussie gamers are getting a fair deal if not a better deal on something. You should see some of the bundles available. It's substantially better value than the PS4 down here now.

Cancel Xbox Live subscription as can now use one for all accounts (saved £40)

So I paid £80 extra for my package and saved at least £142, have had 7 months of 'next-gen' games, all while you were waiting for us to beta test giving you the *best* deal.

You are welcome. I have been enjoying my X1 for months and for a gamer like me that enjoy shooters, saying "Xbox record that" when you have a nice kill, is worth the price of the Kinect alone.

 

Ive been enjoying my x1 since November. I'll be a beta tester anytime.

 

It's true...all the changes, updates, bundles, ditching of the kinect, price drops, etc. Well worth it for people to wait. It's even starting to be tempting for me to buy it.

 

But what if tomorrow MS releases a super party pack X1 (less Kinect, so less party) for $349.00? What if........ maybe 3 months from now the Kinect-less bundle will be $299.00...... to much pondering.

 

might as well wait 4-5 years then, bigger price drops, better bundles, better games that will most likely be cheaper because they have been out longer, more console features, and bet the dashboard will have a complete redesign by then.

i haven't had a moment of regret since opening the box on day one, through the party chat issues, resolution gate, early price drop, bundles, i am very happy, but i don't feel some sympathy for the people that feel ***. win some, lose some.
