I’ve recieved a few messages from random ppl lately and couldnt find them either. Though later i saw the message request tab

You don't need to plug the reciever from the set into your Xbox 360 console (in fact the reciever wouldn't work on the console).

Instead, simply bind the controller itself to your console directly, as per
the instructions that Taidara linked.

Only the PC will need the wireless reciever.

If you wish to use the controller on the PC again, you'll have to bind the controller with the wireless reciever on your PC again, by pressing the button on the wireless reciever, and the bind button on the controller.

My Xbox Series X controller has been giving me sensitivity and joystick issues too, but from what I can tell? The firmware on these new controllers is bugged to hell. I’ve seen reports identical to mine, and now that I’m reading this, I’m curious about what they’re doing to fix it. Like you, I’ve had to resort to just using an Xbox One controller.

From what I’ve read, most people have experienced the same problem. I suppose I’ve been lucky as my controllers last me forever!
