Ive just got an xbox one and I'm using my old gamertag how can I change the email to a new one?

I've just purchased an xbox one and the gamertag i used on my xbox 360 has an email I no longer use, how can I change this email to a new one?

I'm having a problem with email. I've got a new email address as my old account was hacked. I've been using my new address for quite a while now but I can't for the life of me figure out how to change my email on my xbox. My xbox-live account is using the old
email that i no longer use. I need / want to change my xbox email account from my old one to my newer safer email. How can I do this????

Gamertag is taken by my email address, but my gamertag is different on this account???

Years ago with the Xbox and 360 I've had an account with the username/gamertag I've been using for over 15 years. The last couple of years I haven't done anything with this account and haven't played on any MS consoles. Now I've ordered the Xbox one X which
I should receive tomorrow. To start fresh I've created a new MS account with the email address I'm currently using. When trying to change the randomly created gamertag to my usual, I got the error message that it's already taken.

This gamertag appears to be taken by my old email address, so after requesting a new password etc., I'm able to log in with this (old) account. But this account also has some random gamertag and not the one I want to use.

Right now I have two MS accounts with both having some random gamertag. Neither one can change the gamertag to the one I want, because it's taken. I can sign in with this gamertag using the email address of my old account.

I want to have one account with this very special gamertag using my new email address and preferably before my new Xbox arrives tomorrow. Can someone explain to me what I'm doing wrong and offer a possible solution? I have access to all relevant accounts,
so this shouldn't be a problem.
