I've got the "Xbox 4GB Slim" Blues

Lately I've been having a HOST of problems with my xbox playing games. Mainly with CoD: Ghosts and most recently with MGSV: GZ. After contacting Konami regarding my fury in not even being able to boot up MGS without it freezing, I was informed that the
model of xbox I chose to purchase is the problem.

According to Konami, the xbox 4gb slim will not play MGSV because of the internal memory unit. The xbox tries to access both my 320 GB HD that I bought seperately, and the internal memory unit, which keeps the game from booting up properly. I can only assume
the internal memory unit is causing my issues with my Ghosts game as well. ("disc read error" when the disc is brand new) Woe is me.

So what can I do about this besides buying a new xbox without an internal memory unit? And why haven't I seen any response from microsoft about this issue? Is anyone else having the same problems??

well the game size is about 4.5gb so a 4gb slim would be useless

I've not heard of this issue before. Considering this is a newer game it should work fine with your 360 console. Have you tried contacting phone support for assistance with this or have you tried removing your hard drive or clearing it's cache to see if
that solves the issue?

I have the Xbox 360 Slim 4GB console and I've played Ground Zeroes on it with out any problems. Are you playing a physical copy of the game, or the digital copy?

Is it an official microsoft hard drive? if not then that could be your problem.

My HDD is 250GB, but It's not official, I know that for a fact.

Then, as mentioned above, that may be where the issue lies. You should try playing either without the drive attached or purchase an official Xbox 360 hard drive.

I've owned 4 xbox slims altogether. Two of them 250GB & 320GB and the other two 4GB ones. Both of the 4GB ones are a lot louder than the premium ones.

Hey there AntiSocialBrat,

Are you using an external hard drive to install the games on or the internal hard drive? Have you tried to fully power cycle the console to see if that helped yet?
