    ive got a quick question about xbox live gold


    i have seen a offer on one of my accounts that hasn't had xbox live gold in quite a while saying xbox live gold or coffee, and i was wondering when my gold runs out on my main account in 3 weeks, if i can get it, i bought the £1 for one month gold thing,
    and i just wanted to know if i could get it after my gold runs out or should i just make a new account?

    Do i need xbox live

    You will not need gold to buy games (but you will need an xbox live id/gamertag) thats a given, same for iplayer (assuming it comes to xbox one)

    As for renting movies not sure ive always had gold when ive done it

    Promotions are sent to different accounts for different reasons. There's no way to make a specific offer show up for a particular account. So there's no way to say if the offer will show up for you when your gold expires or not.
