Ive got a problem. i recently just got the one month free trial but when i try to play online it doesnt let me saying that i dont have gold. but when i go to settings to check online status it says its gold. what do i do?

Xbox live is not working

Hello, i just bought an xbox live membership for three months. Yesterday, i redeemed it and my xbox said "All done, You have xbox live gold". But the problem is that when i try playing online it doesnt let me and it keep saying Buy xbox live gold to play
online. I have check my subscribtions and it says your xbox live gold will expire in three months, so i have it. I can install the three free games when you have xbox live gold but everything else related to that, it doesnt let me. pls help this is annoying,
i payed almost 30$ for that.

Xbox live code is working but i cant play online or do anything

hello , ive got an 3 month xbox live gold code from G2A for my xbox one s

it cost me about a 15$ , i got the code and i reedemed it in the microsoft site *from my pc* and i was connected to myxbox account in my pc

its says the code is working and everything but when im turning my xbox on its says i have a gold xbox live membership , i can download xbox live gold free games

but when im trying to play an online game like fortnite its says i need to buy an xbox live gold memebership but ive already have one !

its for my brother

dose anyone know what to do?

Hi there,

Please try a manual power cycle and press and hold the power button on the console for at least 10 seconds until you hear the console powering down. when the light on the power supply turns and remains orange for at least 60seconds you can power the console
on again.

After that try to see if all is working correctly with the free trial.

If that failed, please check if the subscription shows at
account.microsoft.com/services if it does, then please remove the profile from the console, restart the console like mentioned before and then redownload the profile again.

i made it from the console itself..i just got on here to figure something out... and idk what you mean by it says im on silver, i thought i was on the free one. but i got on my brothers account and it says he has the one month free trial of Gold and idk
how he managed to get that? because he didnt have a card or anything, i dont know how maybe i didnt do it right to get that idk im about to stop trying. ive made so many bogus accounts to actually sign up the right way to recieve that free Gold trial but ima

Played around with some GTs during the 30-day free online passes when I got my Xbox in 2008. After 2 go arounds on trial accounts, I decided on this one. Haven't changed it since.
