    I need help redeeming a xbox live code bought online as a present from Italy I live in Romania ,is an digital code and when I put it in the xbox 360 it says is invalid can anyone help me?

    Sorry to hear it. Romania is not an officially supported Xbox Live country. Therefore you will have problems with redeeming codes, etc. I would recommend contacting the website to see if you're eligible for a refund on the card

    That gift card is registered for accounts in Italy if you want a gift card for your area you gotta grab one with your location.

    The best way would be to purchase a Xbox Gift card for their region from an online store such as amazon. You say you both live in Europe, so purchase the gift card from the amazon site that is in the same region as your friend. That way you are guaranteed a gift card for the region your friend is in.
