Ive got 150+ ping and I dont know how to drop it

Anyone know what actually determines the connection status?

Ping? Jitter?

how many ms of ping are considered good (4 bars) 25/50?

I'm in England and repeatedly end up in American lobbies with a 4 bar connection and get stuck with lag and I know for a fact if I was to run a pingtest to any server across the pond my ping would be at least 150ms, so i'm curious how the whole process
works

how do you add the skins to guns? ive got some but dont know how to add them.

There are many factors go into lag for instance i have a 80/20 connection with 17 ping but all cod games have a set minimum 50 ping and i may connect to someone in usa who has 150 ping, now if cod used dedicated servers like homefront does the ping rates
dont make a difference.

I haven't heard of it but I would be interested to know whether you're dropping them individually (annoying with 150, I know) or saying "drop all 150" at once and having them split up automatically. The game might recognise them as one single object when
you return, OR one "Book (150)" pile.

Ping is in milliseconds. If you have 100 ping or latency, then your actions take 1 tenth of a second to reach the server. 35 is awesome. It's not opinion, if we both pull the trigger at the exact same time and I have a lower ping, you die, barring other
factors. FPS games can be played up to ~150 ping, maybe 200 if you know the map and know how to lead you bullets if it's a moving target. I've been beaten on PC with a 50 ping and the other guy had 400. Poor guy had dialup, but he made the best of it!
