Hi. I'm getting a new laptop in a few days and it has one month of free Xbox game pass. My brother plays in an Xbox one. Is there any way i can share my Xbox game pass with him?

I understand your question.
To share subscription between PC and console, you need Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

• The Game Pass for console works only on the console.
• Game Pass for PC works on PC only.
• Game Pass Ultimate works on both

If you have Ultimate you can share with him

You can add the subscription to one of their account. The one with the subscription would then set the console of the other brother as their Home console in order to share the subscription with them. They can then sign in and use their subscription on their

Things to keep in mind are that Game Pass itself does not share, but the games downloaded from it do. So the brother who has the subscription on their account would have to start the game downloads on their account, and then the brother without the subscription

You don't need to upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to share your brother's subscription.

• To clarify, are you able to access games he has previously purchased on his account?

• If you don't mind, could you double-check that your console is currently designated as your brother's Home Xbox? To do so:

- Ask your brother to sign in to the account that holds the subscription on your console.
- While on this account, go to Settings > General > Personalization > My Home Xbox.
- The box for "Make this my Home Xbox" must be checked for game-sharing features to work.

So when I try to start the trial in the Microsoft store, it says I have to pay for an ea play subscription, but I already have access to EA play with the Xbox game pass ultimate subscription that I share with my brother. I can play other game trials like for madden and such, but not battlefield?

I share both Live and Game pass with my brother so it should work. Maybe log onto his xbox with your account and download a game from game pass. Then see if he can download them on his own account after that. It should, as todd howard says "just work" if
you are both each others home xbox, but perhaps it needs a kickstart. My only other suggestion is holding the power button down on your stepsons xbox to hard restart it, that too may kickstart it.

Just asked my brother, he said that he can't get games from the "my library" game pass section but has to go to the Xbox store and go to the game pass tab there to download games. Hope that helps mate, cheers!
