    I've followed the guides but my controller still will not connect.


    I have a xbox one controller and a micro to usb cable but whenever i plug it in to the front side USB of my computer, it won't turn on; Neither the power button nor the sync button can make the x symbol at the top stay lit up.

    Is the controller an Xbox One controller or an Xbox 360 controller, and have you followed the

    Xbox One PC controller guide    , or the
    Xbox 360 controller guide    ?

    Yes, I have already looked through the installation guide. I followed all the steps there yet i still can't connect the controller to the Wireless Receiver. i'm currently using Windows 10 and i followed all it's relevant steps but nothing is working.
