I've bought Minecraft and can't play it.

Hi all,

I've bought Minecraft for Xbox even though I already had Minecraft for PC and purchased Xbox Live Gold for a month, yet I still can't play the game. Here are the screenshots:

As you can see I bought everything you could need, but when I went into game this happened.

It displayed a box with "Unlock Full Game", which I thought was stupid because I had just bought the game. When I clicked it this happened.

I have absolutely no idea what this means, and I can't join a realm either.

If I try putting the link into Google Chrome or Edge, it just displays the home screen of Minecraft. I'd like to add for the record that I think that having to buy Minecraft again just to play with friends on Xbox is extremely dumb, and those who have previously
purchased Minecraft on other platforms should be able to reduce the price of new Minecraft with it or get some other reward. This is common sense, and I am absolutely baffled how a multi-billion dollar corporation can **** something as simple as Minecraft
up so badly. If anyone could explain to me how to get my game to work, that would be greatly appreciated, otherwise I want a refund, even thought the terms and conditions state games are non-refundable.

Hey, I've just bought Minecraft and will play along side you. Also do you know how to play split screen co-op mode? I have tried and can't work out how to do it.

I've bought an avatar item, & can't find it

I've bought ocelots, tame dragon, cape & hoody for my son's xbox Minecraft & we can't find them ion the game. We're logged in as the right player, we just can't find in the game

Both versions are the same. Bedrock can run on several platforms/devices.

Try these steps on Windows 10:

- Completely uninstall Xbox App and Xbox Companion App (if you have both).

- After that, Press Windows + R and type in "regedit". Press enter.

- Search for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services

- Delete "GamingServices" and "GamingServices.net" (if they're still there).

- Click on Start (or press Windows key on your keyboard) > Search for Credential Manager. Go to Windows Credentials. Search for Xbl|DeviceKey, click on it and then Remove.

- Open File Explorer using the Windows key + E shortcut. In the address bar paste the following line:

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\TokenBroker

If there are Accounts and Cache folders available make sure that you delete them.

- Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Click on Microsoft Store. The Advanced Options link will appear. Click it. On the next page, click on the Reset button to reset Microsoft Store to default settings.

- Go to Start again > Settings > Gaming > Xbox Networking > Fix it.

- Press the Windows Key + R. Type WSReset.exe and press Enter.

- Restart Windows.

- If you're using a proxy, please stop using it for now:

- Press Windows Key +R. Type inetcpl.cpl and press Enter. Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings. Uncheck the Use a proxy server for your LAN check box. Click Ok.

- Please check if date and time is set correct.

- Open Microsoft Store and make sure you are logged in with the correct account.

- Finally, install Xbox App (and Xbox Companion App if you had it) again. Open it and login to the correct Microsoft/Xbox account.

Try to download and install it both from Microsoft Store and Xbox App (try Xbox App first).

Unfortunately, my issue remains unfixed...

I contacted minecraft support and I'm still waiting for an answer.

I'll let you know the way to fix the issue once I get an answer from them

Two days ago Xbox had a major server issue which affected everything from buying/downloading games and DLCs, games asking to be purchased again, payments being refused.

Their servers are still getting back to normal and some users are complaining they're still having issues. Would you please wait a few hours to see if things get back to normal again?

If problem still persists after a few hours, or if you see you can play other Xbox games just fine and are having issues only with Minecraft, then yes, I'd really recommend you to talk to Minecraft support:
