No, if you are sold the Xbox one via a store and you did nothing wrong, you will not be banned. They broke the terms, not you. Xbox is not banning people playing early.Click to expand...

It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

I recently found out that i was banned when i tried to send my friend a msg i'd like to know why please and how long it lasts for because i've never played xbox since the xbox 360 and i just bought a xbox one s and i cant really remember why i got banned

Once consoles are banned, they cannot be unbanned. You would have to try working with the person you bought it from for a refund.

We also have a portal online that you can check out if you want to try that route.

Try visiting our
Request an Xbox digital product or subscription refund 's portal and give that a shot. You might be able to get it through there but if you do run into trouble, then what Dysruptz suggested is the way to go .

its getting annoying now....i had no idea why im banned but im missing out on xbox live i have which is taking more money i've bought games and dlc and such unable to use them as my xbox one is banned and still haven't heard a reason.. the enforcement team
can't just console ban me .not tell me why then have no way to contact them
