I've been trying to play Roblox but it keeps crashing with an error, anyone has a fix for this?

I actually already tried this method and it didn't work.

While waiting for a response I actually found a solution. I figured out that the "ACPIx86.sys" file was installed yesterday, which was when I started encountering the issue. I thought that this file was important, but my computer was running perfectly fine without it before. So since I couldn't remove it as every time I try to remove it says it's still open in an application, I renamed it, then for some reason, it showed up as a threat in Windows Antivirus so I just removed it from there, and now it isn't happening anymore and my computer is running perfectly fine. Thank you for responding though!

Sounds like the installation could be corrupted. Did you follow the clean uninstall steps for Roblox?

If the clean uninstall doesn't work, try starting the app in Compatibility Mode?

1. Right-click on the Roblox shortcut and click Properties.

2. Click on the Compatibility tab.

3. Enable 'Run in compatibility mode...'.

4. Select Windows Vista (Service Pack 2).

5. Click OK and try launching again.

there is no fix microsoft can offer. It's on roblox side.

They have been made aware of the issue and are working on it. Roblox update that is freezing/crashing ms app for roblox. Has to do with one of their updates from the last month or 2 months.

the problem lies with ms roblox app. No fixes ms can help you with. Roblox has been made aware of the issue. It would be good if someone from ms could bring this to their attention as there are 100s of post like this with ms roblox app crashing and freezing.
