    I think it's a problem with the launcher. This is why third party launchers suck, beyond the fact they're annoying to install

    Open up the app like normal to go to the launcher settings, go to the tools section, open game folder, then right click and open the application folder 7daystodie, it bypasses the error and the game works just fine
