Has anyone tried changing password to account? Are you able to login on microsoft.com?? What happened when account was locked? Did you enter in password and it was instantly locked? was it tried a couple times then locked?

Before i got locked out, i recieved a text message that my account has been compromised so i should log in to change my password which i did. Mind you, i did this on a pc not from my phone. After that, i made a purchase on skype to make calls. Skype kept
on logging me out then the next morning i got a notification that ive been locked out of my account for some privacy violation i have no idea what that is.

the recovery form is the only way, you are responsible for the upkeep of your account and should keep the details safe, Microsoft will not just hand an account to someone unless they can answer all of the security questions.
