It's Time To Buy "Evolved"

Though the Publishers at 2K confirmed "Evovle" was commercially successful for them they also acknowledged that the games "confusing" DLC and Season Pass structure probably put "some" players off.

Hopefully if they want to build and expand this franchise they'll take those lessons on board.

 

It's funny. Some people like a game and try to justify it by telling others that their game is good and anyone that disagrees likes short, "hold ur hand", "non difficult games"...lol. Maybe, and I know this might blow your mind, but maybe someone thinks
a game that you like is crap...go figure...why is this thread still here?...yawn.

No ones belittling anyone. Just misinformed opinionated people stating opinion as fact. Nuthing new...games r 4 fun...

I just have to point out this is a huge problem with Publishers who try to peddle this bs to social media and then worse people actually accept it.

People weren't "confused" by the DLC, those people who refused to buy into such a terrible practice fully understood how bad of a DRM double-dip scheme this was to begin with. But the Publishers can't admit to this because it doesn't fit their narrative that
they want to paint.

It didn't "put players off" either, they refused to be taken for a Product that was not comparable to the market value of a similar Product. Maybe the Publishers should have tried a Free2Play Model from day one, I'm willing to bet Evolve would have been much
more successful. "Season Pass" the Game from day one, yeah right.

 

Nah, there were people certainly who found their DLC and Hunting Pass model confusing.

Not everyone who plays XBox is a self proclaimed expert in the field of gaming like the people here on the Forums.

There are too many games released as the "Pre-Order version", "Special Edition" and "Deluxe Edition".

Just sell me the game!

You do mention a truth that no Publisher is ever going to acknowledge in a million years though.

Many people are getting fed up of their attempts to try and get people to pay for the game twice.

Thankfully even those crazy people who buy a video game without doing 2 months of complex research prior are starting to say "Hey... you know what? I'm gonna just play something else".

 

Noticed the ultimate edition is on sale now, seriously considering grabbing it again as I just moved on to other games on release but for £22 and all the DLC is seems a good deal.

@Genchy or anyone else that can advise, you said the AI has improved greatly, I'm guessing you mean playing against bots? If so could you elaborate as that's mainly how I have to play due to working shifts so am unable to get in with a good regular group.

 

^ Yes mate, it seems they improved the AI so they tend to be a bit more supporting of the player. The game just seemed to play loads better for me solo. I still have it and would jump in if we were both about.
