It seems that right now the outage for Xbox Live services presented yesterday is still persisting due to lot of players are contacting us regarding the same.

The best option for still waiting until Microsoft engineers and developers finally fix it. At the moment there is no ETA yet.

It still says the same thing after closing all connecting accounts and resigning into my Microsoft account. It lets me sign in with my Microsoft account and then tells me I can only play the demo and need to re-purchase Minecraft. This is getting ridiculous, I just want my game to work like it did before the whole migration thing. It is a scam to FORCE players to migrate and then tell them they need to repay for a game they have been playing for X amount of years.

Turned on my xbox and went to play GTA V its telling me I have to purchase it or sign into Xbox live, I own the game was playing it last night and have Xbox live so whats the problem.

did you purchase the game or get it through gamepass, if purchased then you may need to just restart the console and try again.

Let me see if I can explain it a little better.

1. No matter what console an account is signed into it will always be able to play its digital games and use any of its subscriptions.

2. Each account can set ONE console at a time as its home console and any other account/profile on that console can then play any of that profiles digital games and use any of its subscriptions. Each account/profile can only switch which console is set
as its home console FIVE times a year.

With that being said.

Your account is the account that purchased the digital games

If your friend wants to play your digital games on the new console without you being signed in at the same time you would have to sign into that new console and make that new console your home console.

Your friend would then be able to play your digital games without you being signed in and you can sign into your console and play your games even though its not set as your home console. Because your account is the one that purchased the games.

If each has their own gold, the home console will depend on what console they play on most often so that if they don't have an intent connection they will still be able to play their games. Users can play any game they have purchased on any console that
has a connection to the internet. When they are not on their home console, the purchasing account must be signed in in order to share the game.

If they go to their mother's place, that console just needs to be able to connect to the internet so they can download/play any games that have been purchased on their account. So if son 1 purchased a game and son 2 wants to play it while at the mother's
place, Son 1 will need to be signed into the console.

If you have games they want to play, they need to play on your home console, or you need to be signed into the console they are playing on.
