It's suppose to be better, right?

other than dawnbreaker freezing, I've had no real issues for the past month. so I just don't play dawnbreaker.

 

The more I think about the thoughts, that I put in the upper post, the more I realize that I was being very harsh. If I take into account, the amazing artwork that I have seen, in the game. Also, there are hundreds of people from all over the world
playing on different modems, internet providers, etc... The multitudes of weapons and vehicles and all of the upgrades they have. The size of the maps. I also believe that their are people that use mods and cheats that ruin the game and maybe my Xbox and modem,
cause they have to work harder to keep up with the changes in the game codes. If I am right, these people are proving one thing, they have no skill or honor. Also, the Xbox has these cache memory storage's, that also cause these issues. All of these things
could cause many glitches. I don't mind getting killed in the game, that is part of the game. But I do, dislike spending a whole match, getting no kills, because of these glitches. It is not a fun and/or a challenge to be tied to a chair and beaten-ed to death.
So sorry for my frustrations with all of these glitches, and in the end, it is still just a game, it won't put money in my pock, for winning. LOL.

 

The OP is right. There have been a ton of "things" wrong with BF4 since release, but I played the heck out of it (on the 360) before the Xbone was even released and I had a ton of fun. Mostly everything thing else he discussed is explainable though. Sniper
rifles not killing, could be some lag (probably on his end). Killcam showing his killer across the map (maybe he killed you with a Claymore he had put down 10 minutes earlier?). Maybe the enemy shot and weakened you enough for a tank shell to finish you off
from an across the map shot? He is right about some freezing (especially when alot is going on in game like destruction, explosions, etc) and the game not saving right. Just saying.

 

Most problems I had with lag and rubberbanding have been fixed since the installation of fibre optic broadband. Not had a single issue since. We had regular broadband before and it was ok some days and awful other days, but *touches wood* since fibre optic,
I've had no problems whatsoever.

 

I would like to have fibre, but I think my 30 down 14 up is doing OK for now. It will vary though, especially when the squirrels eat on my wire.

 

I really like the game myself. Despite the slight hiccups here and there it's still the best first person shooter on consoles imo. I run into crap servers all the time, but I can tell they're crap pretty early on so I just back out and search until I find
one that feels fair to me. When I get the one I want I then jam for hours. I've had a ton more playable games of BF4 than I have unplayable.

That's ADSL, it's not my connection it's their server, that's how it works. I don't actually get lag per-se (unless in the carrier in naval strike) it's rubber-banding where it jumps / skips every so often. I actually downgraded from fibre, it's a waste
of money currently, not once did I use an internet server that could provide me the 80Mbps down and not once did I use the 12Mbps up (that sort of upload is only useful for conent uploaders or developers).

 

Hellfire - it actually is a combination of both a persons connection speed and issues on their end. For people like you and I, our connection speeds are good. The issue is now solely on their end.

 

'That's how it works' was in relation to my adequate connection hitting their server, therefore the lag / rubberbanding is created on their end. Clearly a poor connection is going to cause problems. They've came out and said they're aware of the server
issues and it will be fixed soon.

as good as it gets for me, 18 down an 2.5 up, I have quantum 20MBS they do have an option for 90mbs but it costs an extra $60 a month my cable is already $177 a month lol that's internet @ 20 mbs phone & TV

 

^ Wow that's expensive, I've only phone and internet at £25 ($42). Although your upload is very good for gaming.
