It's suppose to be better, right?

Hi all.

It is my opinion, that the first game or product, made by a company, is not going to be the best, but the last, should be. Right? Well this Battlefield 4, is riddled with glitches, unstable, and down right frustrating! I have watched threw a sniper
scope, as the bullet goes through an enemies head, and does no damage, no kill. I have used **** riffles and got more kills, from a far distance, than with any of the sniper riffles, I have used so far. When I am killed, it shows a highlighted man on foot,
which is right next to me. But gives the credit to a tank kill, that is no where next to me. I once got shot by an enemy, with a pistol, when the enemy was on the east side of a large bunker, and I was on the west side of the bunker. So that means, the enemy
shot me with a pistol, through three, thick, cement walls. I play one game, set up my character, and then quit out, before the next game. Then join the next game, and the game has reset, my character's guns, colors, to something I set up, days before, and
intended not to use. So the game can't save or recognize what I want and don't want. On one map, when a building collapse, the game lags something fierce. I can't understand most of my team, when they talk. Just every other syllable. Their is probable more,
that I can't remember, right now. This is Battlefield 4, with the new and improved Xbox One? Right? But this game plays, like a car, from the 1920s, drives. Sad really. I paid $59.99 for this game! I will not be paying another $49.99, to be a Premium member,
of this failure!

i keep hearing about all the bugs and every now and then i see something weird but honestly i havent noticed as many as people complain about.. and i've spent considerable time with the game.

 

I have seen most of the things mentioned here, but I usually just laugh it off. As someone who plays these games in the most non-competitive way possible(I think my last few matches aggregate k/d was around 3/75), I find the bugs amusing most of the time.
They impact everyone equally for the most part, so we should be able to take them as part of the game. Now, I am in no way saying they don't need to be addressed, but they are far from game breaking at this stage.(though when it launched it was a different
story)

 

i do agree that there are so many glitches but to be honest my main concern is the crashes a brand new game and console just to be frozen or just thrown off and reset without warning c'mon EA server GET IT SORTED was so looking forward to playing with my
new game bit disappointed

 

Rubber banding in a FPS is just about the worst thing, and in 64 CQ it's pretty much a certainty to happen. The game is riddled with bugs, I patiently waited as many issues were fixed but my god this far in and all I see every night is LAG from EA's !#@$
servers.

seriously?....aww stow it fanboi.....I really like this game, but he's right....this game is a mess most of the time, so yeah...DICE/EA/M$ or whoever should've unscrewed this broken lightbulb by now

 

I would say the not being able to kill people with a sniper rifle is not the game's fault. I've never seen the "bullet through the head with no damage" glitch. I'm not a good sniper at all and have a hard time getting those long range head shots, but I'm
much more willing to chalk that up to my own inexperience and not the game developers.

We all know the kill cams are glitched so that means the tank didn't shoot you with an assault rifle, nor did your teammate standing next to you, or even the guy on the other side of the hill/bunker/whatever.

The in game chat is quite bad, but the xb1 party chat is pretty solid.

Battlelog loadouts tend be glitching for some reason, good thing it takes me 30 seconds to fix it.

When the skyscraper comes down in a 64 player server it does lag, oh well.

could the game be improved? certainly. everything can be improved.

Is it a total failure and unplayable? far from it.

 

Having only recently gotten around to picking up BF4 for my X1, I can say it's definitely still better than BF3, despite the bugs and glitches. So far, even on 64 player CQ I haven't had any lag worse than what I was getting in BF3 on 360. The messed up
kill cams are the only in-game glitch I've really noticed. Most of the glitches are in the menus, namely the loadouts not saving between servers.

 

I don't agree, I enjoyed bf3 a lot more then this....that's why invested the money to play the next gen verion on x1....what a dummy I was because I am smart enough to have known better when it comes to either ms or dice...that mistake wont happen again,
and you can hate on op all day he is still right.

 

I hated battlefail3 since the demo, BF4 on the other hand, I'm enjoying quite a bit. most problems can be attributed to lag and sh*tty netcode (lag compensation) when Sammy Sushi from Japan joins my east coast server. but overall, I like this almost as much
as BC2.

 

I know it's not the most favorite game mode but TDM works great 99% of the time.

 

50% of the time it works every time.
