    It's still asking for gold membership for free to play games??Is gold compulsory to play...


    Xbox team has said that any free to play games does not require xbox live gold membership but when i have installed fortnite and apex legends still they are asking for gold membership.....is this a bug or xbox team haven't changed that.....

    Can i play those games without gold membership as they are free to play games????please respond as soon as possible....thank you.

    Currently you need Gold to play those games. They have only announced they are working on removing the requirement for free-to-play games, but it hasn't started yet.

    Again, that hasn't started yet so you'll need Gold for all games on Xbox. If you're seeing articles that state that, they are not official and giving incorrect information. Once they announce when it's free they'll most likely also publish a list of games that includes.
