For some reason it says I need gold when I try to play online or join a party when I actually do have gold and it doesn’t expire until June.

I have xbox live but it’s saying I don’t

Remove your profile from the console Using the steps here:

Power cycle the console using these steps:

Then sign back in and see if your able to use Xbox Live Gold features.

I have xbox live but it’s saying I don’t

So I’m trying to watch netflix but my xbox is saying I need xbox live to just open the app. I check I can connect to xbox live and I do. Then it says the account isn’t mine! What can I do to fix this?

In this particular case what you will want to do is
remove the profile from the Xbox One console then add it back and try to get into an online game. If you are still seeing the same message, please reach out to the

Try removing your account from your Xbox, restart your Xbox then add back account.

If that doesn’t work, trying contacting Xbox support directly and they’ll refresh from their side.

Please go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/ and sign in with the Microsoft Account that you use on your Xbox console.

Check the status of your Gold membership subscription. If it shows as an active subscription, go to the console, and delete your account from the console's storage settings.

Then add your account again using the same Microsoft account email. This will force the console to check your Gold status online.
