Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. For crashing and/or freezing games on the Xbox One console, I recommend the following support article:

to help you troubleshoot the issue directly step by step.

Regarding the use of the smartphone or tablet with the game, it is good to clear the cache on the apps you use as well depending on the device's storage capacity to ensure that it works well. If this is specifically in reference to the It’s Quiz
Time: Companion App. The app requires smartphones compatible with at least iOS 7.0 or Android 4.4 (KitKat). For further information about this, you may wish to

Do note that some of these issues can be resolved by renstallingthe game and performing
a factory reset (using keep my games & apps)
as well.
