I can play anecdote, too. Other than verifying Halo and Halo 2 worked on my 360, I didn't use BC on it at launch. I didn't revisit those titles until closer
to Halo 3 launch.

 

Yeah, I still have my 360, so I'm content. Also content with the amount of games I have for my X1 since I don't have time to blow through them in a day

Oh there was plenty of complaining when the 360 got launched, everything from "where are the games!!!" to "Gun on 360 looks no better than Gun on the original Xbox" and then the infamous "I have the RROD!!!"

I've never cared about BC. Not with the 360 (kept my original), and not now (kept my 360). Another issue, I don't think MS should be responsible for.

 

@StudBIIckHammr - Hey don't include me with these people. Yes I am a millennial, but I don't share the views and sentiments they have. Honestly I feel like an outcast in my generation, nobody wants to have patience anymore. Its drives me mad lol.

[/quote]Although I agree with this statement, I also have to agree with the OP in regards to games not being updated properly upon release - this means the developers are impatient too. A lot of them would rather get the game out & THEN fix any issues they
may have. This kind of mentality is why we get games like Battlefield 4 that are so bug-ridden & broken. It forces the consumers to either lash out at them for sloppy work or to ride out the storm until it gets fixed, neither of which I'm sure most people
would want to do. Patience is a virtue - not just for people, but for companies too. Remember the Tortoise and the Hare? Slow & steady wins the race...

Most gamers know that even with the 360 the really good games came out in the fall. Same with the XB1.

 

A lack of titles is DEFINITELY not Microsoft's fault and while it does rest on the developers a little bit, publishers are the ones that are always pushing the developers to push out video games as fast as possible.

Geek, IDK but at least for me, BF4 wasn't terrible at launch. Now you might have been talking about the initial launch back on last-gen but my issues with BF have always been the players forcing EA and Dice to fix stuff that isn't actually broken.

Don't even get me started on the Blackhawk from BFBC2!
