It's on the way! and Were working on it.

I have a minor disc drive issue, which hasn't acted up since a complete re-power. I went through 4 360's with the RROD, finally upgraded to a slim and never had issue since with it. As for "more complaints", think of how social media has evolved since the
launch of the 360 to now.....

Is this your first launch console? Sure they need an update to fix a few things, but there are no game breaking flaws at this point. I am personally backed up with games. Call of duty with the new DLC, battlefield 4 with premium map packs, Assassins Creed
4 single player, Madden 25 owner mode, NBA2K and Dead Rising 3 single player.....Not to mention I just picked up Tomb Raider the Definitive Edition yesterday and previously beat Ryse campaign. By the time I catch up on these games (among other 360 games in
my back log) there will be several AAA titles that I am really looking forward to. Heck, in about a month the COD killer is set to release.

 

Side note: Why is AC4 the only xbox one game in your game history?

 

Thats the 360 version and not the xbox one version, xbox one games don't show up on here yet

I'm not complaining for myself because I don't have an X1. But I'm speaking out as a potential consumer that would like to have some issues worked out before I drop my $500+ dollars. I, as well as all of you, have every right as consumers to demand quality.
And some of you say what you have is quality and I say that by judging from all the threads I've read since launch, there are a lot of issues that should have been worked out before they were boxed up and shipped to consumers. I loved my original xbox and
I loved the 360. I don't think I EVER complained about either.

 

This is old when it comes to the Xbox One? Where have you been for the past generation? This is how videogames have been in general regardless of platform for the god knows how many past years, lol.

I don't understand how this is microsofts fault. They don't make the games. I own a gaming pc as well and trust. There is nothing coming out in the either. And as far as know it's the same for the ps4! There is just a lull in new games in general at the
moment on any system. If you've played games for any amount of time you would know there is always quiet times. Then there are time where there is too much and it's hard to decide where to splurge. But if you must blame someone. Blame the game companies.

I still think people should have a look at games they wouldn't usually go for.

Many years back I was a nightmare that I only stuck to the games that always appealed to me. Then one day I saw the light and decided to give the lesser known titles ( well what I'd class as the lesser titles ) a go and was more than pleasantly surprised.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing but I think for many if it's not another Battlefield, Call Of Duty or the much talked about Titanfall etc then their just not interested but in my opinion their missing out.

Have a shop around folks, there's some absolute gems out there if your willing to at least give them a try.

sticky thread about what people would like to have "fixed". There is an
entire forum dedicated to console feedback. I fail to see the need for multiple threads in this forum rehashing the same tired arguments over and over.

For those of us who didn't use custom soundtracks
and didn't watch ripped media on our consoles, we do.

When the 360 launched most people seemed content to play CoD 2, Quake 4, PDZ, Condemned, Kameo, King Kong etc.. until the next great title or batch of games came out. Nowadays, under that same scenario, we would still have what we see here. It's a cultural
mind-shift and it's not a good one. We become spoiled, impatient, easily bored and ungrateful...just to name a few.

 

That's the problem with console launches--especially when you lack BC support.

While I don't think it will be as bad as what the Wii U went through(in terms of it's own software) but it be smart to have a steady stream of games each month over the course of the launch window than throwing all your eggs in the basket at once. I;m not
saying a lot of games but something like two games a month would be ideal I think.

Of course, then there is the quality too. I know when I got my 360 I had no games for it really until stuff like Double Agent and Gears came out. Part of dealing with it though was COD2 being such a great game and still being able to play Chaos Theory, Halo
2, and Doom 3 on my 360.
