Microsoft is opening up official support for Xbox on Reddit.

Why can't XBox sort this problem out!

Official Xbox One support forums are
over there. They're monitored by MS staff. This forum is not.

 

Problem Playing XBgame to XB360

If you bought it from somewhere like ebay or something, there's about a 99% chance it's not an official MS hard drive. Only official MS hard drives will work with original Xbox games. Knock-offs can work with everything else, but won't run original games.

 

I'd be surprised if that meant the demise of this place, it's been dying a slow death for a while.

 

I have to agree..used to be when you left a post on here and came back later to find the thread you would have to scroll 4 or 5 pages to find it but now it's always still on the first page lol

Hopefully we can still keep general discussion if anything has to go as i have always thought of that forum favorite.

 

It's just another way to interact with gamers, while I agree that the forum community is not as active as other communities, this does not mean these forums are being killed off or replaced.

Another way to interact is fine, but MS sem to be going out of their way to make Reddit there Proxy Forum,whilst this place is not visited by the PR (Nelson or Bongos) and we are still displaying 360 Gamercards while .com itself gets integration updates.

 

Meh, I feel like i'm one of the few who actually don't really use reddit.

I really hope they don't take down the forums completely though :/

I'll agree its down to the handful of regulars now, but in a way I prefer the handful or regulars to a website full of idiots.

I don't like it there. Everything looks so sloppy and unorganized...

 

My first post on here was in 2011 but hardly posted until mid 2013.

Microsoft needs to keep their own stuff. This site is like the only official site for everything Xbox 360 and Xbox 1. I heard they have volunteers to moderate the site. And you get some Support staff too.

I like how when you sign in on this site, the address bar is highlighted green and a padlock on it (IE11). Microsoft are known worldwide for their expertise in software. It's best to be on a site owned by Microsoft rather than some third party who does who
knows what your personal info. But if they mean just the forums ONLY, then I can live with it. It just means you'll only see me on Xbox 360 or Xbox 1. I meet at least a dozen of my Minecraft friends in 2012 in the Xbox Minecraft Forum section (the type of
friends who post once "I want friends"), some from TDU2 and Halo.

 

Meh, I must be missing something. From what I read it said Support. No doubt it will lower traffic here but in a good way. No more "i bandded n did notin rong!" Post.

 

It's official. Every year I'm resurrecting this thread and laughing.
