    you can always try doing it on the computer instead of the xbox altho first thing to check is that your account is verifyed

    Is this a new account? If so, you may have to go to xbox.com and verify that it is your account. I had this issue when I had made a new account about a month ago. When it gave me the option to choose a name I picked
    one that I didn't like and tried to go back and change it, but it said sorry try again later... So I went with the name that I had initially picked and went in to the customization of my account and it let me pick a new one. I hope this helps you

    Is this a new account? If so, you may have to go to xbox.com and verify that it is your account. I had this issue when I had made a new account about a month ago. When it gave me the option to choose a name I picked one that I didn't like and tried to go
    back and change it, but it said sorry try again later... So I went with the name that I had initially picked and went in to the customization of my account and it let me pick a new one. I hope this helps you
