    It's Mid-May 2015. Should I sell my Xbox One?

So, I bought my Xbox One last November 2014 for $250. I really enjoyed my xbox 360 and wanted to see if Xbox One would continue that. However, I wasn't completely sold on it at the start and bought a PS4 at launch - which I still have, love, and use as my
    main console.

Anyway, over the course of 6 months, I bought about $130 worth of games:

    a) Titanfall ($10 on black friday) - Good game, but nonexistent online community.

    b) Advanced Warfare (full price) - I personally enjoyed it, but I already had it for PS4 and I like the controls and matchmaking better on PS4, so I hardly play it on Xbone.

    c) Halo: The Master Chief Collection (full price) - AWFUL - To this day, the matchmaking is broken (at least for me) and I never saw any reason to invest anymore time in it.

It's now the middle of May 2015 (6 months after I bought the xbone) and honestly, I see no reason to hang onto it.

    a) There are no games I'm interested in for Xbone - I don't care about Halo 5.

    b) I get way more enjoyment out of my xbox 360, so I can still play xbox games on that console.

    c) I can get about $300 on ebay for the xbone, which is $50 more than what I originally spent on it. True, I also bought $130 games, but my net loss would only be about $70 and I'd have some cash in my pocket.

So, with all that being said, I'm taking a poll. Should I sell my Xbox One? Oh yeah, also, I'm interested in selling it partly because the money will go towards a gaming laptop that I've been planning on buying for a while. (If you have a suggestion for
which gaming laptop I should get, that would help too! Keep the budget to around $1000, however.)

    :)

    New Tiles

The new tiles added mid-May 2015 stink. Can we revert to the old set? How?

If you're not that happy with it and can put some money in your pocket than I would sell it. I personally love mine. Saving up for a decent gaming laptop isn't a bad idea as I have been thinking of doing that myself.

If you aren't happy then why are you polling the Xbox community? You want my opinion, personally I don't think you should get rid of it. This isn't opinion this is just fact.

Xbox has more exclusives coming out this year. (You don't care BUT) Halo 5, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Fable Legends, Forza Motorsports 6 (which Forza is king of racing). S*ny has Bloodborne only this year.

You enjoy the 360 yet your GS is low. New GamerTag?

  6. Personally, if you have nothing but shooters, I'd say no wonder you're not happy with it - I think you should add some variety to your collection. It's Mid-May 2015. Should I sell my Xbox One? ;)

  7. IMO: Based soley on your use of the word. 'Xbone' I recommend you Sell it.

As for gaming PC, I would check out the Alienware Alpha. Which is more like a Console/Gaming PC all rolled into one, and comes with a 360 style PC controller.

    Happy Gaming!

Sounds to me like it was mistake buying in the first if there were no games you were interested in.

I haven't been keeping up with PC gaming, but $1000 seems really low for a gaming laptop, are they cheaper now?

You'll get more performance for your money if you invest in a desktop rather than a laptop. Do some research and build one yourself (plenty of youtube videos) and avoid pre-built.

I would say if you really have no interest in the upcoming games for X1 best find it a new home.

As for a gaming PC within your budget try the
    r/buildapc
subreddit. Xbox One forums aren't really the place for they type of discussion.

  12. Well, TC it depends. I know others have responded and have not read those. But the way I view it is a money thing now. If you already have the system and do not need the money you might as well keep it. You can bet that there will be games that:

    1) You will want to play at some point.

    2) Should not be missed if you can help it.

    Same goes for PS4.

Also, the majority of third party games are on One, PS4, and PC. PC is the best if you have a decent PC that can handle decent settings (you do not need the highest). So the decision might be more of one about exclusive games. MS has the typical ones
like Sony and Nintendo. Then they will have some that are not announced yet. Just like the others.

As for the "gaming laptop" deal I personally do not like those and the cost is just too high for what you get. I have a high end one and they are not really worth the money(although I had some gift cards that I used to bring cost down, wish I had not and
knew better). At home a desktop is just so much better and on the go you can get by with cheaper options. I can build a much better desktop and get a laptop that will do ok for the money and have better overall performance. Streaming from desktop to laptop
is also an option for great gaming on the laptop if you have the network setup. And do not be afraid to build. It is so simple.

  15. I think you know you want to sell it or you're heavily leaning towards it and want some justification from the internet. Well, it's really up to you because me saying why I find it great is subjective and will probably hold no weight when your mind is made
    up.

Also, it's not like selling or changing platforms is concrete, you might find you want an Xbox One in the future and there is nothing wrong with selling it now and purchasing it again later if you so desire. The main thing, enjoy your gaming!
