Its free!!! Why do you need my credit card details?

Verification proccess plus it's not treated as free on the website

If you don't want to use a creditcard you must use your xbox 360 this has been the same proccess for years

If you look at the price on the website it says 0.00

Meaning a transaction must take place

Even if it's 0.00 on both the xbox one or the website and yes the xbox one uses the Web portal also that's why you have to add the creditcard there too

Xbox one games with gold are still free but remember because the xbox one still uses the Web portal you still need the creditcard

Only on the 360 is it free

Hi when i said a pre payed card i didnt mean a credit card i ment i brought the gold account and you just enter the code to activate it,iv tryed to remove my card details and it says to go on line to xbox.com if my details were added then there not showing
up infact it says iv nothing on file,even signing into xbox shows nothing,as for emails and iv checked that its my email account which it is, so why havent i recieved anything,why do i not have any control over my own credit card,i didnt set any parental controls
because i didnt realise that my card details remained on file and to make a purchase you simply clicked a button,you may watch your kids 24/7 (if you have them) but i dont,hes owned up to the fact that he may of purchased items accidently,and as there is
no password or pin needed its easily done,its a few quid and im not after a refund my post was more to do with my credit card details being held on file that i have no access to only through my sons xbox account
