    Its been about a year that I have not been able to send messages from my Xbox one and apps


    SO its been almost a year since i haven't been able to send a message on my Xbox one, I am not banned what so ever and I've had tried every single step xbox support has told me to do to get this fixed and nothing has worked only untill now I've been able
    to get some real help but nobody in the past has even tried to get back to me and im just getting tired of this can the community team help?? Im just tired of this.

  3. Xbox won’t send messages still a year later..

    I’m really about to just cancel Xbox live , I have not been able to send messages for about a year and no one can seem to figure out what’s wrong I’ve watched all the vids I have deleted my account multiple time I’ve done the hard resets verified my email
    , that being said I have great behavior never been bam last time I spoke to Xbox support I got cut off and they told me they had no idea. This is ridiculous. I’ve played xbox for a long time check my reputation sad that it’s coming down to this. My Gamertag
    isn’t UKG Knight again can’t send anybody messages

    tech support over the phone was clueless. i've got the "can't send messages", can still receive, on the 360 for the last few days. i don't have a fix yet either, but it appears that this is an issue with xbone and 360. it seems to me, like the problem is
    the moment you try to send the message. whatever server is being contacted when that happens is screwing things up and none of the 'support' have any idea what's going on.

    Tech support pretty much told me to go away by telling me to post on here but yeah its stupid dude im beyond pissed about this they said the community staff will reach out to me on here yet NOBODY from xbox has!

    Have you tried this:

    First check the enforcement site to verify that all suspensions are really over: https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US

    If all suspensions are expired, and you are therefore clear, try the following steps:

    1. Remove your account from the Xbox.
    2. Give your Xbox a power cycle.
    3. Add your account back into the Xbox.
    4. Attempt to use the social features now.
    Also what is your NAT setting say?

    Yes Dadwhite i've done that and everything else and I mean literally every single trouble shooting step there is imaginable I dont have any bans at all and my NAT is open I had a friend log into his X1 and he had the same problem so its not a network issue its
    with my account but I dont have a single ban on there

    FYI - the support provided here is from other Xbox users, NOT Xbox Support.

    You can try and go through and update your account info through the steps below -

    1) Start by going to your account here -
    https://account.microsoft.com/profile/


    2) Make sure there's a First and Last Name on the account

    3) The sign in email address that you used for the account, (don't post that info here) but if you used another email like a @gmail.com email address, make sure you completed the email address verification for the account

    4) Where it says Edit your personal info, click on that and update your info there

    5) Where is says Edit your billing info, click on that and update your info there

    6) Go here - https://account.microsoft.com/security

    - under Update your security info click on Update info

    - make sure you have a phone and email on your account so you have options to verify or recover your account

    7) After your account info is all up to date, remove the account from your Xbox console and hard reset it (press the power button down on the front of the Xbox One for 15 sec, then let it go and restart it)

    8) Then add your account back to your Xbox One and try to send a message again

    Hey, just taking a stab in the dark, but have you checked your account settings to make sure nothing is blocked? You possibly have it blocked in the privacy and online safety area.
