It's absurd Microsoft allow that Sony had exclusivity on Street Fighter 5.

Microsoft strongly failed
to allow Sony
acquired the exclusive
Street Fighter 5 for
PS4.

This is not a foul to warn
Microsoft not to neglect the
Japan. It has been said
countless times here to Microsoft
buying Capcom,
Tecmo, Sega and
Square-Enix and neutralize
once the Sony
in the market for games.
But Microsoft prefers to
do the opposite and
make the stupidity of
making a billion-dollar purchase
of a company
totally irrelevant to
the culture of games such as
Mojang producer of Minecraft.
With the money spent on
the Mojang,
Microsoft could have bought Capcom,
Tecmo, Sega
and Square-Enix and
still had money.
Now the owners of
Xbox One will have
to live with the humiliation
of not having Strret Fighter
5 for Xbox One
because the game is
exclusive to the PS4.

Pill Spencer failed
for not giving due weight
to the classic games
produced in Japan.

No Street Fighter 5 on Xbone

Pretty big one this. It looks like Microsoft and Sony were in talks with Capcom over who gets console exclusivity for their games, MS got Dead Rising 3 and PS4/PC will have Street Fighter 5.

Considering all the top players from SF4 played on Xbox Live this is a huge blow for MS.

 

Fighting Games?

I am a fan of Street Fighter... and I am disappointed in the fact that the 4 letter word company snatched up exclusivity for Street Fighter 5. But I am over it. I personally have always like Dead or Alive better.

I can not wait for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round.

 

I'm sure this a big deal to some but I don't really care about this. I love Killer Instinct and Mortal Kombat is coming soon.

 

While I'm sure you're a pretty smart guy, Mr X 2pi, I'm going to have to trust the dudes over at MS know what they're doing with their money. Minecraft is more than just a game. It is t-shirts, toys, and a crapton of other merchandise. What do you get
with Capcom? Rehashes? Yet another crappy Resident Evil game?

For some who absolutely loathes fighting games, this isn't even a blip on my radar.

 

it looks like street fighter IV, when you have mortal combat incoming why would this even be on peoples radars ?

 

yeah we XB1 guys can cry that we dont have SF5... Its ok though, I call it a fair trade for Tomb Raider I guess...

 

This does hurt a little bit. Street Fighter is a big name. And there is a large following for Street Fighter. I am disappointed in this announcement.

However, there is hope. Because it says also on PC. Perhaps a timed exclusive like Rise of the Tomb Raider is.

Though in all seriousness, I'm not overly bothered by this news. Though it's not good on xbox owners in general not having a 2nd party exclusive, but lets be honest here the xbox had had it's fair share of 2nd party game you can't get on other systems

Sony grab a console exclusive with Street Fighter 5.

Microsoft grabbed a complete exclusive with Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Companies want exclusives because they are what sells the system.

 

What?! Street Fighter 5 is a PS4 exclusive?! I'll probably get it day 1 anyway. I don't even like fighting games. But I like to have something to play when I have company over.

 

I'm sure we'll get the numerous remakes, ie...Super Street Fighter Arcade Alpha Dx, Super Arcade Bonus Panda Edition, and let's not forget the bundled "Real Tai Fighter" with fightpad and Super Deluxe Capcom Dead rising Vengenace complete Third Strike Duo

Really? Minecraft is not relevant to the games culture? Seriously dude you need to look on Youtube or in shops once in a while. Minecraft is HUUUGE, you may not like it, but trust me, millions of people all around the world do.
