Okay, one last thing, Phil Spencer, please, read this cause it's for your own good. Have you ever though about the way people are getting free full games on PC? Yes. Torrents. That has been the best way for them to do so for a very long time. If you actually
think that buying games on Win 10 will boost your sales well, idk what to say. It really does help first, but, it won't for long cause people will start downloading the torrents instead of buying the game. I'm just saying. I need the Community's opinion on
    this

    Xbox Lite/Go?

As of right now the solution to this could the the Xbox Play Anywhere program. This program allows users in the Xbox and Windows eco system play the same games on the console and Windows 10 pc. The idea is that you purchase the digital game once and you
are able to play it on both the console and a Windows 10 pc/laptop, plus your game saves sync between the two. The program just launched recently with just a hand full of first party games (Recore, Gears Of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, etc..) but Xbox plans to
bring more games to the play anywhere portfolio. There plan is to have third party publishers join in on the program but right now it's more of a wait and see. Hopefully this is something that catches on and becomes a benefit for customers, Xbox and developers
alike. If Play Anywhere takes off you most definitely will see those third party developers such as EA or UBiSoft making there games available to the program.

It's well on it's way where you purchase one game and have it available to you on both platforms. Right now the program is in it's infancy but I'm excited about the outcome. Keep you fingers crossed. Cheers!

    Battlefront II Xbox to PC

Battlefront 2 is unfortunately not an Xbox Play Anywhere title so you will have to buy the PC version separately.

These are the games under the Xbox Play Anywhere program- Xbox Play Anywhere | Xbox

Play Anywhere gives you a Windows 10 version of a game if you buy the Xbox version (digitally of course).

This is good for Microsoft as it helps keep people in their store on the console and helps pull people into the Windows Store on PC.

Does piracy on the PC exist? Yes of course it does but as Steam shows offering a good service and reasonable prices can easily counter that.

Play Anywhere isn't a problem for Microsoft, rather it's the poor quality of the Windows Store and the higher prices.

Only SOME games have the Play Anywhere feature (e.g. this game is available on Xbox One, PC, etc). A lot of games brought from the Xbox Store can only be played on the console, not PC. Which means if you want to play it on PC, you need to buy a PC copy.
    Steam is recommended.

However PC games are mostly cheaper than console games. Everywhere I look, PC games are cheaper than console games, Steam games are sold cheaper than what Microsoft charges.

Another thing to be cautious from is WHERE you buy a game from (torrents). Better pay for a legit licensed authorized game copy game developer created; and paying more, rather than going cheap and risking an account ban. Microsoft
is quite strict with this. If you mess with or play with a game that has been reversed engineered or hacked or an illegal copy etc, especially on your Xbox console, don't be surprised if your account gets banned. Video games isn't always going to be a cheap
hobby. If you're complaining about costs, find another hobby, go to the park or beach, etc.

Also, Microsoft staff don't visit this forum (except the support staff authorized by Microsoft). If you want to voice your opinion direct to Microsoft, visit a site they actually read on. Here's the link:

Erm..................I have no idea how to respond to this. I mean first its just a blanket statement roughly along the lines of "PC gamers download games illegally" which is true. The problem is that you don't follow it up with "Do you think that this
will hurt Xbox One sales?" or "Do you think PlayAnywhere spoils the Xbox Brand"

I don't see how Play Anywhere is spoiling anything, those that play on consoles will always buy the console version, and if they have a decent laptop they can take the games with them.

Also, about Zens comment "Does piracy on the PC exist? Yes of course it does but as Steam shows offering a good service and reasonable prices can easily counter that." for some people the price of a game makes no difference to them downloading a game illegally.
A game got released a few years back called Game Dev Tycoon (think that was the title) its price was only a few pounds, and it still got copied illegally. how do we know this? because the dev released a cracked version themselves that made the game impossible
to play (the game had piracy in it, so when a game got released that was good, the player was loosing money because they were getting very few sales) when people started complaining about it on the forums, the developer politely told them to buy a version
    and not pirate it.

  7. You are always going to have people who don't want to pay for something and take it illegally. From stolen clothing, to car jacking, to torrenting games or movies. But Valve somehow still manage to make rather a lot of money. GoG
has no DRM in the games it sells and still manages to make a healthy profit. The simple truth is that most people will pay for a quality product and service.
