Items not boosting discovery in Dark Souls BC on XBO.

This renders important items like the Covetous Gold Serpent Ring useless and should be a simple fix. I have seen this issue mentioned several times with no response for support. Is anyone looking into this bug?

Item Discovery issue in Dark Souls

Hi, I recently purchased Dark Souls and I am playing it on my Xbox One only to find out that the item (Covetous Gold Serpent Ring) is not working properly when playing on Xbox One, the item will show a +200 boost to your item discovery in blue numbers
like it should but i only when I'm hovering over the item, when I equip it my Item Discovery stat will go back down to 100 and won't have any effect whatsoeve. I know a similar thread has already been made about this but I didn't get to post on that thread,
I think the entiretry of the Item Discovery stat is completely glitched on Xbox One because with or without the item (Covetus Gold Serpent Ring) I still can't seem to really discover much of anything in the game, I don't even think the base 100 Item Discovery
even applies, it seems to only be there because the game can't display a lower number than 100 on that stat to my knowledge. Everything works fine for my friend that I'm playing the game with and he's on the Xbox 360. Any solution to this would be greatly
appreciated as I'm not the only one having this issue and it is very aggravating to me.

Same concern here and would appreciate some kind of response from Support on this, at least for clarification. The Covetous Gold Serpent Ring has no visual change on the status tooltip screen - currently, whether I have the ring on or off, my item discovery
sits around 200.

However, underneath my stamina bar, there is a gold little serpent showing the game recognizes my use of the ring. Is item discovery being properly boosted or is the game not actually recognizing that I have the ring on?
