It wouldn't happen they said time and time again.

It could be good strategy (depending on circumstances). It also would show that Sony was worried about what MS was doing . Doesn't have to be either or (I do think this shows MS is not happy with sales but I also think it's good strategy on their part).

 

The reason sales are probably not so good in the UK is down to non specific advertising, basically the one was advertised to the American market and the rest of us loved the look of it and was sold on what it was gonna give us, but reality is we got naff
all, i was sold on the idea i could turn my t.v over by voice but nope not a sausage! hardly no apps, functions were dire, obviously with the last update things are moving in the right direction, but we are still without the apps and abilities what our American
counter parts have.

i like many others, maybe on here, Facebook, twitter, work, maybe college have maybe told friends and colleague's not to bother buying an xb1 for now, or maybe some have said don't get one at all

This deal/promotion is not happening in Australia X1 still costs $599 and ps4 still $549.

 

@ Harra Sony will do some bundle deal most likely with Drive Club but now nah they don't need the sales unlike Microsoft. Apparently they struggling to meet the demand even though i could get a PS4 or XBOne if i wanted one.

 

I can walk into most stores in Sydney and pick a x1 or Ps4 up off the shelf if I wanted. This is a promotional deal to take advantage of Titanfall hype and to yes sell consoles. As I said if Sony offers any bundles discount this year I'll use your logic
and immediately assume that the PS4 is struggling. Kinect is still bundled.

@Wild i dont hate sony. i own a sony mobile and a sony blu ray player only reason i never got a ps3 was IMO they are rubbish yes the games from the last year or 2 are good but the ps3 it self was rubbish. i will get a ps4 only reason i never was because
there was no games i liked

 

I was in GANE today getting the "art of titanfall book" and a guy was trading in his ps4 with killzone,knack,battlefield4,ghosts his reason.....he wanted battlefield,ghosts and titanfall for the xbox one. and sony will prob do it with second sun why would
they with DC IGN even said DC is vry poor

I agree with what your saying there and the same happens from both sets of fanboys I add but on Twitter at the moment I'm seeing a lot of ( from the Sony camp ) ..

"Microsoft are in trouble with sales" ... "Microsoft running scared" ...

But I bet any money if Sony do some sort of price drop, the same Sony folk will be ... "Good on Sony" ... "Well done" ..

The trouble with a lot of fanboys and this is not aimed at anyone here is they seem to have double standards.

It's a bit like what I've read about Thief today, now according to IGN and a few other sites it has some real problems with frame rate, especially on PS4, now I don't know what the real issue is but when this happens with XB1 games it's ... "Crap hardware"
blah blah, now though the Sony folks are blaming the devs, why not the console, as I said, double standards.

Again this sort of rubbish happens from both sides but using these examples as it's what I've been reading today.

You're only adding to the problem with that attitude.

The key phrase in your reply is "a FEW Xbox One early adopters" - meaning not many. There's far more people on these forums that are either accepting or neutral in comparison to those who aren't.

I admit, the Xbox One is not without its flaws, but despite those flaws, most of the posters that are regulars to this forum are happy with their console, which is why they like to sing it from the rafters - there's nothing wrong with that.

I'm not going to argue over the 1 post you brought up, simply because nationality has absolutely nothing to do with ignorance.

What you're doing however, is insulting others for their opinions & proving just how arrogant you truly are. You need to learn to respect others for their opinions & ignore those who don't respect yours because they don't matter anyways. Their ignorance
is obvious & you should be immune to that. So, toughen up, grow some skin, & take it like the Brit you say you are.

 

Only one thing to say to that GG everyone happy right ? how come i keep see disgruntled threads about american adopters very unhappy that Great Britian get's a discount and a free game and they don't. Yea everyone is so happy = NOT!

I can't remember when i saw totally harmony on these threads come to think about it. There's always someone not that happy about the XBone every day. If every one was happy and hunky dory on here then no one would bother coming into the site lol.
